 Lectio    Jn 15.1-8

Meditatio: "I arm the vine, you are the branches.” Jn 15.5a

Oratio: O God, how wonderfully you have provided for us..

I remember Jesus declared that He is the vine and we the branches. How wonderful!  We are grafted to Jesus by virtue of our Baptism and You prune us so that we bear the fruit You want. In prayer be docile to the pruning of the Vine Dresser for His work in us is eternal life.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: "I....vine...you...branches”; how wonderfully we have been redeemed! Jesus incorporates all who believe in Him into His very self. Seek the grace to be the branch He wants us to be so that we may be part of His kingdom forever..

 Tomorrow's reading: Jn 15.9-11
