5.27.15

Lectio:  Mk 10.46-52

Meditatio: "Jesus told him, ‘Go your way, your faith has saved you.’  Immediately he received his sight and followed him on the way.” Mk 10.52

Oratio: O God, what gifts You bestow on those who believe even in this life.

I remember the blind man believed that Jesus could give him his sight and Jesus did.
Pray for the sight of faith of the blind man and then live by it and you will be greatly blest in t his life and in the next.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: “Jesus....faith...sight....followed him”; The blind man’s faith was rewarded in this life with sight and he also received eternal life for the blind man folllowed Jesus thereafter.  the life plus eternal life. Seek the grace of the sight of faith of Bartimaeus for therein lies the vision of things that really matter..
